This is a project update for the Avkat Informatics Project. The blog post summarizes work that has been done over the Fall 2012 semester. A lot of progress has been made including switching from using one of the ArcGIS APIs to ArcGIS Online.

I am an archaeology student. I got a Bachelor’s of Science in anthropology with minors in archaeology and classics. Right now I’m getting certified in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). What anthropology do you study?

Apparently you can never have a bad sunset in Greece. When we got to the vineyard, the sky was overcast, but, as the sun began to set, the sky burst with amazing color.

The highlight picks up the ripples in the water and contrasts against the sky interestingly to me.
